Come to the Grand Opening of Warner’s story walk Friday, October 5th 2018 at 5:00 PM with author Matt Forrest Esenwine.  The Story Walk starts at Pillsbury Free Library, continues down Depot Street to the bottom of Jim Mitchell Park and across the street to the Rail Trail.  Come enjoy the walk along the river, while reading “Flashlight Night” written by local author Matt Forrest Esenwine.  Many thanks to Friends of the Concord-Sunapee Rail Trail, Soon to be Eagle Scout Alex Swanson and his troop 77, Pillsbury Free Library, and many private doors for making this possible.  The story will be changing on a regular basis so be sure to stop by and enjoy a beautiful walk along the river.  The walk ends at West Joppa Road at the Dalton Covered Bridge, approximately 1/3 of a mile.

Time to volunteer for the 2018 fall book sale!

Can you spare an hour or two? The library’s annual book and bake sale can use lots of helpers – dates and tasks vary from sorting books and setting up to prepare in advance, to selling items on the weekend of Warner Fall Foliage Festival October 6 and 7, to packing up and /or transporting leftovers the following week. Or you could donate some home baked goodies.

To volunteer you can call 456-2289 or come in to the library or do it online from home at http://signup.com/go/PwjFZdR

Thanks for helping with this important fundraiser!
