In addition to the funding we receive through the Town from annual taxes, the library depends on other funding from special funds set up by bequest or in memory of loved ones, to fundraising activities and individual donations.
Your donation helps to provide a high standard of collections and services for you and other residents, and to enable improvements to the building or keep up to date technology available. There are many ways you can donate to the library:

Charitable contributions to governmental units are tax-deductible under section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code if made for a public purpose.
Planned Giving and Legacy Donations:
Consider adding us to your list of beneficiaries or setting up a trust fund. Seek the advice of your financial or legal advisor, or your retirement plan administrator, insurance company, bank or financial institution for a change-of-beneficiary form.
Attend or Participate in fundraising activities as a volunteer or by attending and purchasing items at events such as the biannual Wine and Cheese Party with silent Auction in March or the Annual Indoor Flea Market in April, or the Fall Foliage Festival Book Sale in October.
