Starting August 5, 2013 the library has an online public access catalog (OPAC) and checkout system based on the open source KOHA software, with support from Bywater Solutions.
Features of this catalog include:
- Advanced search features using multiple terms to filter
- Cover images of books (video images to be added later)
- Users can view their own accounts and edit preferences such as how much checkout history to save)
- Automatic messages (user can set preferences)
- Messaging between staff and users (renewals, reserves, reminders and recommendations)
- Inclusion of titles available from NH Downloadable books, with links to the download site.
Contact library staff to get your new card number and password to log into your account from the catalog page (and for accessing NH Downloadable Books).
